Savings on a Sunday

Here is what I saved today:

If you go to www.slickdeals.net you can find a way to save 15$ off any purchase at jcpenney. I purchased a 2.00 bra :) Yeah me, I think if you have children you can really save a lot. Again slick deals has the codes, basically you combine 5.00 and a 10.00 off code.

Walgreens has free foil, there was a coupon in the paper for 1.00 off and on coupons.com, so free foil!

That's about it today, I did my grocery shopping yesterday. I did all the meals for the week and snacks and spent 71.00, including stocking up on 3 venus razors. There were 2.00 coupons off in the paper combined with the 3.00 target coupon and it made the razors 2.99 , not free, but not bad either. I think CVS is sexist and has better deals on men's razors than women's, which is annoying, but I will not complain about my favorite store. Leave a comment and let me know how you do today! Erica at www.Iheartcvs.com has this week's cvs ad up. I don't see anything too exciting for me and I rolled my ECB's last week on the diet coke deal - 6 packs of diet cokes, two laundry soaps and all kinds of goodies for 7 bucks OOP! Let me know if you find any good deals!

Target

Ok, so the last two times I went to Target, I received a 5$ off 50$ coupon, not shabby for my favorite store! Also, I just read today on DealSeekingMom, that you can print Target coupons in the store, great for people like myself who always forget their coupon! Plus, Target coupons can be stacked with manufacturer coupons for even greater savings.

Today I bought an iron for my expanding sewing career, ha ha and 8 heads of broccoli-- the broccoli was only 4.00! I plan on using it to make soup and casseroles that I can freeze! TGIF Everyone!

Cheap Crocs!

Finish Line has clearance croc shoes starting at 4.98, in both kids and adult sizes. I'm a big fan! This is really cheap considering retail is 29-39.99. I believe shipping is 7.95 for the first pair and two dollars for every pair after that. Makes for a pretty cheap pair of crocs! Perfect for old lady swim class :)

Hello Blogland!

Hi, my name is Amanda and I am starting a new blog, because, well, let's face it, there just aren't enough!

Seriously however, this blog is going to be a mixture of advice on how to be frugal, insights to sales, specials great coupons and a few stories/regular features this week.
